November 14

The suffering of prisoners is so deep. They have no freedom. The discipline they endure often comes from cruel guards. They have contact with unhappy and bad people, often day and night, and these bad people often cause them to sin. Sometimes they are heavily burdened because of the suffering they have brought on their family through their crimes.

. . . I was in prison and you came to me. (Matthew 25:36)

Lord, show me what I can do for prisoners. I am willing to be used.
