Cast your burden on the Lord. Don't try to solve the world's problems with your mind. You cannot unscramble scrambled eggs.

The world is Your concern, Father. Thank You that You are willing to use even me for Your purposes.

Some people trust the Lord for eternal salvation but not for the cares of everyday life. Feed your faith - that starves your doubt to death.

Father, keep doubts from our minds. Build our faith until we can follow You without fear and care.

October 17

There is no neutrality on the front line of the battle between light and darkness. Walk only in the light. When a Christian shuns fellowship with other Christians, the devil smiles. When he stops reading the Bible, the devil laughs. When he stops praying, the devil shouts for joy.
