There were three times in my
life when prison locks were closed behind me. It was very difficult. Many of us
experience locks closed behind us at times when we have almost insurmountable
problems. I learned, and you will learn, that that means a difficult class in
life’s school. But you can learn much, especially when the teacher is able. My
teacher was the Lord, and He is willing to be yours.
Show me
Your ways, O Lord: teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth, and teach me:
for You are the God of my salvation; on You do I wait all the day.
See Psalms 25:4-5 KJV
We are Your willing pupils,
Lord. The classroom is of Your choosing, the lessons only part of Your plan for
us. Thank You that Your Holy Spirit teaches us how to be willing to study in
Your school.
