Don’t ask, “Can I be kept from sin, if I keep close to Him?” Ask instead, “Can I be kept from sin, if He is near me?” Then you will see how reliable He is. Confess, humble yourself, admit what you have done. Keep the door closed to sin through the blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus.

False Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

Matthew 24:24

We are so glad it is written, “if possible,” Lord! What a joy that it is not possible and that it is You Yourself who prepares us and gives us the grace and discernment we need.
