If we follow Jesus in all things, many times we will be misunderstood. Bitterness may creep into our hearts. But it is not our job to convince our friends. All we must do is deal with our own sins.
Search me, O God. and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
Psalms 139:23-24
When people cause me to feel anger, or to feel wronged, cleanse me from the sins of my emotions, Lord Jesus, show me where I need Your forgiveness.
