I found that when some Russians
who were in great tribulation and persecution heard that we were willing to pray
for them, they never said, “Pray that God will stop this persecution.” They
said, “Pray that God will give us the strength to suffer for Him.”
. . . you
have shown such endurance and faith in all the trials and persecutions you have
gone through . . . He intends to use your suffering to make you worthy of His
Kingdom . . .
